Always enjoy the trip more when there is such a nice comfortable and quite place to come back to after visiting family.Just go down and enjoy the free dinner provided by the hotel. Then up for a movie and relax. The beds are so comfortable always get a good night's sleep. In the morning you can always look forward to a full variety of breakfast from eggs, sausage, potatoes,waffles you have most everything you could want including coffee, water, and juice. Thanks to a great staff and accomodations that are top notch 5 star we alays enjoy our stay with Residence Inn Springfield.

Room Tip: Get the rooms on top floor facing pool or the ones facing the North great views.

I live here in Springfield, MO. We gather the whole extended family up every year, but with 25 people in the family, we don't have room to put everyone up. We usually stay for a night in the summer, but this year we did Thanksgiving here in town. We had 6 rooms for 2 nights, and the whole family was very pleased with the hotel. The kids played basketball outside until they were worn out, while the ladies went shopping, and the men hung out. The lobby is very big and our family just kind of took the place over. The staff was super easy going and friendly, even when we stayed in the lobby playing poker until late in the evening, and took family pictures for a long time in front of their fireplace in the lobby. (Don't worry, they let us know that if we were being loud or disturbing other guests they would send us on our way--we were actually a well-behaved group the whole time.......)
The breakfast is good, and we walked the whole family next door to Zio's for Italian food on Saturday night. Every time we come here the staff is helpful and appreciative, and the rooms are clean and nice.

So, I've actually been staying in this hotel for the better part of five months due to a work project. The one bedroom suite has been perfect for my needs -- a work desk, a couch, a good TV, and a kitchenette to go along with the bedroom/bathroom.

The staff has been great as well. Front desk, housekeeping, the breakfast staff, and the general manager have all been professional, polite, and pleasant. Every need/want I have brought to their attention has been taken care of immediately.

And, the location is great.

Downside? A few minor points. First, the "dinner" served Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday suffers badly in comparison to other Residence Inns. In other properties, the "bar-b-que" varies from dogs and burgers to more elaborate fare. Here, it's dogs, every time. And not very good dogs at that. In other properties, there is an occasional night where they'll cater in local restaurant food. Here, that hasn't ever happened. And, most other properties have a happy hour along with the meal. Nothing like that here.

Likewise, the breakfast doesn't compare well to other Residence Inns. In other properties, I've regularly enjoyed boiled eggs, bacon (on occasion), ham, and a variety of other dishes. Here, the menu never changes. A little variety would be welcome.

So, to sum up: very good rooms, friendly and effective staff, and good value for the dollar. Could be improved by spending a little more time, thought, and money on the "complimentary" breakfast and dinners.

Room Tip: Rooms on the north side of the property are closest to the highway, and therefore louder.

Please by all means stop by my office located next to the front desk whenever you have suggestions like these. It really helps me to keep my finger on the pulse of our guest's needs. We actually switched to hot dogs not too long ago due to a guest request. I will make sure we do both now. Also I will speak with the kitchen manager and ensure we have a better variety of breakfast meats etc. We normally get nothing but rave reviews on our wonderful breakfast buffet. You should see a change very shortly though. I apologize but we are unable to have a liquor license and therefore we don't serve alcohol in evenings however guests can order beer and wine through room service via the Zio's Italian Grill next door. They will deliver to your room and allow you to charge it to your room as well. We appreciate our extended stay guests and want your experience to be enjoyable. We hope the remainder of your stay is awesome!

We stayed for 2 months ( August-October) when our children were in the hospital .
The accommodations are wonderful.
The kitchenettes has all of the necessary amenities, including a full size fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The livingarea is separated from the bedroom and each area has it's own television.
They serve a free breakfast in the morning and free dinner 3 times each week .
The gym with the jacuzzi is so nice to have and we enjoyed the swimmingpool and jacuzzi outside at the beginning of our stay when the weather were great.
The customer service is fantastic !!
The personel is so friendly and helpful .
This hotel is home away from home, we loved every minute of our long stay .
We would love to come back !!

This was a nice place to stay at a reasonable price. The kitchenettes had all of the necessary amenities, including a full size fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The living area was separated from the bedroom with a door and each area had it's own television, which was great for my family. Sound was kept pretty well contained in each space and although our floor was pretty full, we never heard other guests. The beds were comfortable. Our suite had it's own temperature control. Level 2 of each building (there are two buildings) had a laundry area. Two larger sized front loading washers and 4 dryers. $1.25-$1.50 to wash, depending on how long of a cycle you wanted with a minimum of 31 minutes. Dryers were fairly large capacity and ran approx. 45 minutes for $1.00. The breakfast buffet was good and if you stay over on certain week nights, dinner is provided. The only confusion we encountered was that there was a separate elevator for each building. Making sure you park closest to the building you are staying in is imperative. Pets are allowed with a $100 NON-refundable deposit, no matter how long you're staying. There is a separate area for walking your pet. It's close to the highway and there are plenty of restaurants and shopping in the area. I would definitely stay again.

We booked this hotel for an overnight based upon Tripadvisor ratings. We were very pleased. Room was clean, comfortable, and all staff were friendly. Only complaint is the pillows. Not up to Marriott standards. They really need to upgrade them.

Room Tip: We were on the first floor and it was just fine. Rooms were soundproof.

This is an older property as evidenced by the popcorn ceilings. Has been moderately updated with flat screens & it appears the living room & possibly the kitchenette. The bathrooms are still lacking, the towels are paper thin, & the mattresses while decent are not as comfortable as the newer Marriott properties. The biggest issue with this property was the complete lack of hot or even warm water from the hours of 9:30am to noon check out on this particular Saturday morning. Called the front desk & they sent maintenance up to the room & said that they checked the boilers & all were operational but that they had several teams on the property that must be using the hot water all at once. Thanks for the explanation, but if I'm paying Marriott prices, for Residence Inn rates, I expect hot water regardless of occupancy levels. Either upgrade your hot water capacity or quit charging upper echelon hotel rates for the Springfield market. The front desk was very friendly & attentive but can't overcome a basic hotel necessity... HOT WATER!!!

Room Tip: Preferably one with hot water???
