A little Americanized, but we are in the Midwest! Very tasty with a good variety of spicy/ non-spicy. They have a buffett set up every day for lunch and most dinner times. Best of all, the price is right.

Gem of India has a good buffet with several different traditional Indian dishes offered. The tandoori is good with just the right light spice. Raita is a bit runny, but has a decent flavor. Make sure you get there early on because I have found that if I go towards the end of the lunch time, food is a little on the old side. I like spice, and if you are the same, the buffet is not the way to go, but if you order from the menu, they do a great job of accomodating your taste. The staff is extremely friendly and make you feel welcome.

Gem of India has pretty good Indian food. Their buffett is the best! and the most cost effective. They have more northern indian food so it is not as spicy. If you are not a spice fan, no problem as there is little spice in the food here. But if you order seperately you can request more heat if you desire! The mango lasi is great and like a mango milkshake. This place is a must try!

This restaurant serves very unhygenic food.He is known for serving stale food, has been reprimanded by health department numerous times.Going to this restaurant is like putting your health at risk.Everytime i went there, i got sick, his food is also tasteless no matter what you order.I am writing this after the background check on this restaurant.

The buffet is good but get their early because they are not likely to stock it during the lunch time rush. Same goes for the masala tea. Also don't expect refills on your drink. They never come around with extra water etc. They do have a nice stocked store area that you can buy items to make your own Indian food. Also have only gotten take out twice and both times they gave me the wrong items. So for sure never do take out.
