“Not quite 5 star but at least a 4+!”
Reviewed December 13, 2012

We have been looking for a very nice sushi restaurant near us, and decided to try Mijuri in Springfield, MO. The reviews were correct, the outside isn't much to look at, but the inside is very clean, neat, and pleasant. The atmosphere is very good, the service is also very good, and most of the food was excellent. We did have some question as to the age of the sashimi, as it did not seem to be fresh...it was a little soft and fell apart when picking it up. The taste of the sashami was good, and the rest of the sushi was excellent. I really did not care for the hot tea, but that is a personal matter, and the miso soup was really good. Overall, the service was excellent, the food and atmosphere was very good, and we will go back again!

“Hidden gem!”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

Last week we found ourselves in Springfield, Missouri for an event. Looking for a place close to our hotel, we found Mijuri Sushi & Rythm, a little hidden gem for Sushi in the city (Found under Japanese if you filter...) We were delighted with both the quality and the broad selection of choices, including traditional Japanese noodle dishes. We had some Nigiri and a couple of their specialty rolls, and all of it exceeded expectations. The atmosphere was as it should be for this type of restaurant, low light and nice fixtures. When we return to this area, we will certainly come back to Mijuri!

“Very good lunch specials”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

Went to Mijuri for lunch last week for a coworker's birthday. Got the pick 3 sushi rolls - dynamite, crunchy, and philly. All three were very good and they came with a little piece of steak and a stuffed mushroom, some edaname, and a drink for $10. Very reasonable!

“Best Sushi in Springfield”
Reviewed September 30, 2012

Don't think this place is known by the "in crowd." But they have a tremendous selection of sushi rolls as well as grilled items. I can recommend highly the stone cooked ribeye.

“Awesome sushi!”
Reviewed September 10, 2012 via mobile

We tried multiple rolls tonight and they were all great! We had the eye of the tiger, the mijuri roll, 007 roll, tuna paradise, and the sea monster! They were all delicious! We like cream cheese and the mijuri, 007 roll as well as the eye of the tiger all had that. Great service and good prices! We've had sushi at Little Tokyo, nakato, haruno and sakura, this may be our new favorite!
