I've been to Lambert's in Sikeston a few times, and have always had to wait over an hour. Which is to be expected at such a popular place. The food is pretty good, (BBQ pork steak, chef salad, pretty much everything!) as are the pass arounds (when you can get them). This last trip I was a little disappointed that we didn't get a chance to try all the pass arounds with our out of state visitors. The rolls are very good, and they really do throw the rolls! It's fun catching them, the kids always enjoy it. There's tons of stuff to look at inside, as well as a little gift shop. Seating is usually very packed.

Went for lunch on a Sunday. Line was out the door waiting for a table still only took 15 min to be seated. Great country cooking with healthy portions. The throwed rolls are and added enjoyment just to watch. But wonderful to eat also.

I have visited both Lambert's locations (Springfield and Sikeston) twice. I went the second time for both sites because other people I was with wanted to try it. Yes, they throw rolls. The rolls are actually pretty good. It is loud - very loud. It is always crowded. Tour buses load people in. During peak times the lines of people waiting to be seated are out the door. The food is OK, nothing special. If the experience of "throwed rolls" is on your bucket list, you have come to the right place. Just be prepared to wait and don't expect a nice quiet dinner or an exceptional culinary experience.

This is a fun place to eat with a group. Value is good and the price is reasonable considering the amount of food you get. Go early and go hungry
