This is a total experience you must do if you come to this area. Raise your arms and they'll toss you a roll. The food is very generous, you will be taking a plate home! People are constantly roaming through the tables offering extra sides, but it is the atmosphere that is so incredible. Tons of license plates from all over and plenty of old country looking decor. Lots of fun - be sure to come here for dinner!!

We took our two five year old granddaughters to Lamberts for the fun experience. On that level, it met our expectations. They loved seeing the rolls flying through the air! But the food: not so good. I love macaroni and tomatoes, but theirs was so sweet I could not eat one bite. Norm's pass arounds are great in theory, but the servers rarely made their way to our table and when they did the food was cold. The fried chicken and the rolls are outstanding. The fried okra also delicious, but the rest....questionable. Go once for the fun of it, not for the quality of the food.

Although it's a next-to-interstate, high volume, tourist-trap type of a restaurant; it's definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. All drinks and water come in huge, plastic insulated drinking mugs. I got their old fashioned pot roast. The beef was falling-apart tender over mashed potatoes covered with a thick brown gravy. For my 2 sides I ordered the pickled beets and turnip greens. Everything was delicious. The 'pass arounds' that day besides the famous throw'd rolls were fried okra, fried potatoes or macaroni. Our portions were large enough for to-go boxes for lunch the next day.

Can't believe there was already a wait at 10:30 a.m. Such a fun place! Would definitely go again. Gift shop was fun.

3rd time we have visited this Lambert's location and it was wonderful once again. We visited on a Fri eve about 5:00 w a party of 11 and only had about a 35min wait. We have waited for 2 hours before but it was still worth it then. There's usually some kind of wait in summer for sure. Food was great with Huge portions. Service was fantastic. Rolls were flying and amazing as always!
