Location downtown - cannot beat it, if you ever stay in STL for shorter periods. Friendly and helpful personnel is a positive thing. 'Automatic elevators' does not work too well (slow); specifically when Cardinals playing next door and everyone wants to go to 360 to see 'it' or just for a refreshment. Breakfast a bit boring after few days. Concierge Lounge below average both in snacks and drinks (boring). Not too many choice restaurants within walking distance, which is typical for downtown hotels.

Room Tip: The higher the better, if you don't mind waiting for the elevators

Came to town for a Cardinals ball game. Arrived on Friday and checked in a little after the check-in time of 4pm. Even though I am a HHonors member, the only HH line available was for Gold up (unfortunately I'm a few stays away from that level) according to the sign. However, as the two employees checking people in at the HH desk opened up, they simply called for the next person in line. Strike 1. We did receive the correct type of room reserved and fortunately received a room in the west tower. The east tower shares one of their three elevators with the 360 rooftop bar, which opens at the same time as check in begins. So you can imagine the lines at all three elevators on a game day. West tower elevators were less crowded, and even though one was down due to maintenance the was an extra one available that looked like the old service elevator. There was a sign pointing to this extra elevator and we used it regularly. We decided to participate in the breakfast room service option, filling out our door card and placing it on the handle before midnight as instructed. Morning comes, order is still hanging on the door. Strike 2. Visited the front desk after getting ready for our visit to the Arch (which is a couple blocks away, with the old courthouse caddy corner to the hotel) and Emily I believe her name was, provided us with two buffet vouchers and various apologies. Single to first. After a nice day touring the area we returned to the hotel for a possible swim in the pool. We decided to check it out first and elected to return to the room as it was crowded primarily due to its small size. We attempted to visit 360 again at 4pm as Saturdays game began at 6:05. When we arrived in the lobby area the check-in line was to the door and the waiting line for the 360 elevator snaked around in the lobby and included a portable bar to give the many baseball fans a head start on the evening. Great sales idea, didn't hear one complaint, but opted to skip 360 for the second time. Outstanding location for the ball park and two metro link locations (less than a third of a mile). If riding metro to and from the airport, 30-45 minutes depending on time of day. About 25 stops with a few university campus stops that seem to pick up and drop off the most. Check out didn't feel like the usual Hilton process. Zip check out was over the phone instead of via tv, so I left my name and room number on the voice mail per instructions. As we were departing the room around 5:50 to make the 6 something metro link to the airport, the night security employee was dropping off billing receipts. Not sure what time these normally get placed under doors, but he was very friendly as he handed me the piece of paper. Overall the staff were outstanding, excellent location for the planned events, corner room was acceptable, and the issues very minimal. Would stay here again or possibly try their other property a few doors down.

Room Tip: West tower, don't worry about the views, there's plenty of ways to see it outside your room.

Stayed here for one night on business. Service was very good at the front desk. I believe valet parking was required but it worked pretty well. Rooms were not the most modern Hilton style but looked to be the second most recent. They were working on some floors so maybe a renovation is happening. Either way I thought everything was clean and comfortable.

Room Tip: Request a ballpark view

The location was great, as was everything from the lobby to the room. The room had a great view of the Arch, clean and comfortable bed and the room was very quiet! We ate lunch before the Cardinals game in the bar restaurant, the food was really good and the price was super reasonable. I would definitely stay here again!

We thought we had reserved a King Suite with pull-out sofa. We arrived late in the evening and took the sofa apart to discover that it was not a pull out bed. The bottom of the cushions and the sofa under the cushions were both nasty! The furniture was very worn and baseboards looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years and years. The lobby was nice and the food was very good. The elevators were backed up and one was not working after the ballgame, so we took the stairs to our room - 25 floors!

I recently stayed at the Ballpark Hilton for business. I was greeted warmly, and numerous staff members offered to assist me with my bags, vehicle, check-in, etc. Justin at the front desk was very helpful and and friendly, and suggested trying 360, the restaurant/bar on top of the hotel. I travel often for business and found this to be my favorite Hilton yet. I'll definitely stay here again!

Popped into the 360 rooftop after visiting the Arch. Scenic views of the St Louis skyline, Arch, ball park.
Service is mediocre though the ambience compensates.
Drink and snack prices are good considering the facilities nod location.
Well worth a visit.
