Understand this is BallPark Village across from the stadium so on any game days this location will be crowded. I choose to go with a group of 4 on a non game day and arrived at 11:20 am only to be told we need to wait to be seated. We waited about 20 minutes and then were seated near the stage. It is amazing that restaurants want you to wait to seat when there were about 40 wide open tables. Perhaps you have your staff come in 1/2 earlier and begin seating at 10:30 and turn the tables one more time over lunch??
The four of us ordered some barely basic items. 2 of us had hamburgers and fries, one had a chicken sandwich and the other a salad. The cost was not bad, on par with an Appleebees or Ruby Tuesdays. The issue is that this all tasted like reheated standard corporated food junk. If you think Applebees has the best burger and wings you will love this place however if you like freshly cooked, seasoned food this is not the place for you. There are far better salads and sandwhiches around downtown (Try Calico's). The burger was just bland, the fries kinda sucked. The service was ok but overall just blah.
The atmoshere of the place is ok but it is not even a really fun bar, it is just big but that is about it. It is extremely loud and the seats, tables etc are not very comfortable. The TV's are not that easy to see so if you want to watch the game go out to the main concourse and watch on the huge TV.
This is the second restaurant I have eaten in Ballpark village that was not that great (See Drunken Fish). Overall this place seems set up like a tourist trap, like you have to go see it. If you want a great meal downtown look for better reviewed places and if you want a great bar to watch a game I suggest the same thing as this is really neither.
