High marks for the food, mediocre service. Saturday night, 8:00, restaurant half full … and waiter very slow to get to us. His attitude was tepid, almost disinterested through all the service. Sort of pro forma.
But the food was excellent. Brie beignets to start with along with a side order of the beets which we shared. Main courses were ribeye steak and frites (with enough to take home for lunch the next day), sous vide skate wing, and mushroom pot au feu. All great. Dessert was tart ratine which was okay.
Wines are a bit pricey, but to be expected. We had a lovely French pinot noir.
Botto line: we recommend, but hope you don't get the waiter we had.
