“Don't Turn Down the Haggis”
Reviewed January 9, 2014

Have not been to this place in a while. But I remember the Scottish eggs were out of this world and the haggis was NOT to be missed, if you are slightly adventurous. A bit dark, but I like the pub feel. Great service. Have the Twisted Thistle ale (from Scotland). Very authentic food. A bit pricey, but what they serve isn't a typical burger and fries.

Early dinner before show. They are somewhat challenged on making a reservation, but otherwise great dining experience. Good wine selection and some very traditional Scottish dishes. Service was excellent and food preparation perfect. Liked it so much came back later for dessert.

“Great Pub in the CWE”
Reviewed October 26, 2013 via mobile

Have been wanting to try this place for a while. So glad we did. The food was very good , atmosphere great, staff very accommodating . Noticed as I was leaving that it has a great pub atmosphere as well.. Will go again . The only negative is Portions are too large.. Might not be a negative for some.

Thank kandicef

“Depends what day you go and which staff member serves you.”
Reviewed October 22, 2013 via mobile

If you are in search of superb service then you need to experience the service from Nathan. Kind, considerate, courteous service always from Nathan, and that is all any of us ask for when trying to enjoy an outing, (plus great food and lovely atmosphere). The "service experienced" has a HUGE impact on the end result. If the food is great, which it is here, and service terrible then the great food is soon forgotten.
Thus, I also agree with one other review that not all staff here seem to be enjoying their work, sadly.
Food fabulous each time I have been and I love the atmosphere, usually. Tonight however there was a dance class, or exercise class going on in the next room and as I wrote to Management, the music coming from that room was rediculous, it actually overflowed into the whole dining area. Relaxatation and atmosphere no longer something to be enjoyed. I will never go again on a Tuesday or any other day, evening or night these classes are held.
Keep up the good work Nathan and thank you for the lovely food those responsible.

“Unique exerience”
Reviewed September 25, 2013

I'm from London so I'm always looking for authentic British food, and Scottish Arms is just the ticket! The best Scotch Eggs ever, a fabulous Cock-a-Leeky and salad plate, and melted Garlic Brie on Bread, heavenly. Perfect Pub food which was what we were craving. Added to that we sampled 4 of the exceptional variety of Scotch and 2 draught beers. A really wonderful evening, and kudos to Michael, who made the Scotch-tasting a truly unique event. Loved it all.
