“It's a Street With Shops and Restaurants - so what”
Reviewed May 27, 2013

Title says it all. Nothing special. If this is one of the top 10 streets in America then it's a sad state of affairs for the rest of the country.

“Not really anything here?”
Reviewed May 22, 2013

Some hookah and hippie shops but I'm not sure what else. Maybe I didn't explore far enough. Didn't like the atmosphere, with small kids.

“Shopping”
Reviewed May 21, 2013

One of the best shopping areas in the States it says. Non national stores are found here in the main which is very good to see as well as an old non working tram from the days when they ran - hence the name the Loop.

Plenty of places to eat and plenty of different types of shops.

“Restaurants galore!”
Reviewed May 20, 2013

My colleagues and I go to lunches from work to a number of restaurants (Indian, Thai, Bread Company etc.) in the loop. Vibrant with life at all times of the day!

“A Saturday or Sunday may be better”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

We strolled The Loop on a weekday afternoon and I think it would be a lot more enjoyable on a Saturday or Sunday with more people.

At the moment there is a large construction taking place which cuts the streetscape quite a lot.

However the one big plus for us in going to the Loop was discovering the Meshuggah Cafe.
