Owner description: The Shrine is a beautifully retored 19th century Catholic church. St Joseph was built for German immigrants and staffed by Jesuit priests. We offer a Catholic mass every Sunday at 11am and a tour of the church follows each mass.

This church is also known as the Church of Miracles because of the miracle that is attributed to it. It is reminiscent of the stately churches of Europe, and is a wonderful place to visit. So many beautiful weddings take place here because it is so spectacular.

This is a fabulous church to visit. It is like some of the beautiful churches in a bad area of town. You can see the arch from it but beware of the one way streets they can get confusing when you are trying to get there and get out.

Ok, so it's not Rome, but this cathedral offers such spiritual beauty, it will take your breath away. My cousin was married there, and it was amazing! If your there for a wedding, a day of worship or just to tour, you will not be disappointed!

This church is breathtaking. We took the tour after the morning Mass on Sunday. The tour is really just a talk by one of the guides while you are seated in the pews -- easy for anyone with problems walking. We went in the basement afterwards to look at their rummage sale -- interesting stuff.

Absolutely beautiful church...they are not built like this any more. My husband and I were married there and our 3 children baptized there.
