“Old timey shop under the arch.”
Reviewed July 19, 2013 via mobile

This is an old timey themed shop that sits under the arch across from the gift shop. It is reminiscent of a store at silver dollar city or Cracker Barrel. They sell fudge, candy, and games. What I like most about the store is that some of the proceeds go to keeping the arch in top shape.

“Cute recreation! And candy, too!”
Reviewed January 7, 2012

Part of the Arch experience, the Levee Mercantile is a recreation of a mercantile store at the time of Westward Expansion. It's a fully-functioning store with museum appeal as you pick up and gawk at cans, tools, and other knick-knacks of the time. Grab yourself a warm pretzel roll or scoop up taffy candies from the wooden barrels!
