“Enjoy a walk in the park!”

Jefferson National Expansion Memorial Park

This is a great spot to take in the park, right in the middle of town. It is only a few blocks from several wonderful hotels!

The trees were in bloom and the lawn & view were lovely. I felt bad that the Mississippi River was flooding the steps after all the rain last week but the park was still worth walking around. Beautiful and worth lying down and gazing at the magnificent view of Arch.

its just one of those things in America that you MUST go see . We had our teens and it was really cool as a family to learn the history and go up to the top to view St. Louis (a very cool city- friendly, clean). the arch is amazing inside and out. DONT MISS IT

The park could be lovely, but it needs a little renovation. There are some great walking/running trails, but it's not well-lit.

Jefferson National Expansion Memorial is the park you inevitably have to go through to visit the Arch, but it is a nice place to visit on its own. The park it very clean and functional, and includes a large amount of green space. Aside from the Arch itself, the park has some great features, like reflecting ponds on either side of the base of the Arch, and a river overlook located close to the Eads Bridge that is a great picture-taking spot. The park includes space up to and including the Old Courthouse, so there are plenty of places for a picnic to choose from while you’re visiting the Arch. The park also plays host to a large July 4th celebration, and various musical concerts during the summer, so be sure to check for any events ahead of your visit.
