“Enjoy a Fabulous Park in St. Louis”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

Forest Park is a unique park in that it is was originally made famous from the 1904 World's Fair exhibit. Over the years St. Louis has well maintained their proud park. Included in this park is something to do year round. Fall is exceptionally beautiful with vibrant colors from many different species of trees. Pack a lunch and enjoy! Winter brings the excitement of ice skating at Steinberg rink. Spring bring out the beautiful flowers to admire in the Jewel box. Summer is where you want to enjoy the Muny outdoor theater. Finally year round you can enjoy the Art Museum, Boat House Restaurant, the famous St. Louis Zoo, and Forest Park Golf.

“Take a day....”
Reviewed August 1, 2013

One of the nicest parks that you will find in any city I have ever been to .
Well planned and covering a huge area this area offers lots of walking /riding paths taking in some beautiful buildings and monuments as well as one of the most beautiful lake systems you could hope to find.
We walked ,cycled and paddled all day for just the total price of a theatre ticket.
I suggest that you use Metra out of the city and then use the multi stop bus in the park

This park is huge/ Take the train to it and then the trolley around it. You can jump on and off and see all the attractions at your leisure.

“My favorite spot in St.Louis.”
Reviewed July 31, 2013 via mobile

This is my all time favorite location in st.louis. There are so many activities to do in the park...you can either go just to walk around or take your dog for a walkor you can visit the art museum or the zoo. The boathouse and muny are also great options in the evenings. I make a few trips to forest park a month. Definitely a must visit if in STL.

“Largest urban park in US”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

Forest Park is larger than Central Park. In Forest Park you have the St. Louis Zoo, The Art Museum, The Missouri History Museum The Jewel Box (they grow flowers there,) an out door ice rink, ball fields, a golf course, the Muny Opera of St. Louis, and a paddle boat area. You could spend all day and still probably not get to every place.
