“True gem.”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

Forest park is one of the major urban parks in the country. Beautiful landscaping and many things for the family to do. An art museum, a fantastic zoo, an out door theater with shows all summer long, golf, tennis, archery and rental boats are just a few of the attraction there.

Beautiful well kept grounds...see the museum(s)! The Art Museum will require a couple days to see it all.

“Zoo is here and my son enjoyed a run here”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

I really was just in this to visit the zoo...we ate at a covered picnic area and my son went for a run...looks like a nice park and a place to fly kites, relax and read, walk your dog, etc.

“This park rivals NYC's Central Park!”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

I spent a few hours enjoying this wonderful park. There are paved walkways, jogging paths and dedicated cycling/runner paths. If the beauty of the trees, flowers and water features are not enough, the St. Louis History Museum, Zoo, Art Museum, MUNY Theater and more! There is plenty of open space for play as well as playgrounds. Along Lindell Avenue you can view some incredible mansions harkening to earlier times.

This park is not to be missed if you are visiting St. Louis.

“Hard to overestimate the beauty of the park”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

Forest Park is a beautiful, unique city park. It is large (much bigger than Central Park) and has beautiful spots throughout. We drove through it and saw the Jewel Box (conservatory), Muny Opera (which is only open in the summer), the Zoo (which was packed on this early warm weather day), the Art Museum, and the Missouri History Museum. People were out jogging and riding bikes everywhere. Even with the trees barely getting their leaves, the park was lovely.
