“Very neat”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

I really enjoyed this place, and so did my gluten-free girlfriend. Their menu is not gigantic...but the place itself is neat. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about GF foods there, and took our rather large order without writing anything down. Slogan: "Leave your attitude at home" is posted on their shirts and front door. I kind of went all out here because I was referred to from a friend. Their grill was out but they could still fry things. I ordered the fried alligator (large portion size, very good), the gumbo ya ya (spicy, I liked this), jumbaliah (yummm...there was actually a pretty decent amount of sausage, shrimp, etc. besides just mainly rice), and the oysters rockefeller (kind of disappointed but I've come to the realization I just don't like raw oysters...they were in a spicy cocktail/vodka sauce). Also ordered an angry orchard on tap (as it's gluten-free so she could try it). She ordered a salad, wings (which she said were awesome...there were around a dozen in an order) and the barbecued shrimp (she liked a lot as well...). The bill for both of us was 69.00 + tip (i think we tipped somewhere between 10-15 dollars as we were kind of pumped), but the oysters alone were 11.00 so I should've scrapped those, hah. The place was lined with sanitized oyster shells outside, and felt like you were down south. Very neat place with great food. Highly recommended
