Description: Tony's, a St. Louis landmark and nationally acclaimed restaurant, has featured award-winning food, service, and ambiance for more than 40 years. Recognized year after year with the AAA Four-Diamond Award and the Forbes (formerly Mobil) Four-Star Award, among others, executive chef Vincent P. Bommarito creates a signature menu. From lobster albanello to a veal loin chop with truffle sauce, from filet mignon of swordfish to a luxurious tasting menu, all dishes are finished tableside. Tony's complements each meal with a medal-winning wine collection and decadent house-made desserts. Servers, many with Tony's for decades, anticipate guests' needs to create an extraordinary dining experience. Every guest is treated to the gracious hospitality one would receive walking into the Bommarito family's home. Generations of families celebrate special events at Tony's; business and leisure travelers make sure to include dinner at Tony's in their visit.

“Nice for romance or business!”
Reviewed May 13, 2013

Even though there was a Cards game in town we were not rushed. Had a chance to discuss a lot of business without being rushed. The food was good enough, but not for the price. I am sure there is better food for price, but probably trade off busier atmosphere....

“Dated and way too traditional...”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

Someone is management does not seem to care about social media..... Goes with the theme of the restaurant -dated and old school.... The main picture on the trip advisor page is GianTony's that is located on the hill in STL. This restaurant is downtown at the corner of Market and 4th street. Had dinner reservations for my 40th birthday this past weekend. Extremely intimidating snooty and snobby waiters. Once you let them know that you are large and in charge they seem to back off, even more so once they figure out that this is not your first rodeo at a high end restaurant.
The food is great the ambiance is horrible. How about injecting some capital into this joint? There are better places in STL that have a more upbeat atmosphere with food that is just as good... Ownership needs to take a hard look at this old school operation and get with the times today.

“Clearly the Best”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

I travel and love Tony's. For a more casual dinner try Anthony's. Anthony's is the best restaurant for the price anywhere in St. Louis. You get Tony's world class kitchen - real ingredients - for under 20 bucks. Amazing. After just a few visit staff will know you personally.

“Very Enjoyable Night”
Reviewed April 21, 2013

A delightful evening with my wife and daughter. We were engaged at Tony's and and returned to celebrate our 20 year anniversary. The staff is very attentive and quite friendly. As expected the night was flawless and extremely enjoyable. Tanqueray & Tonic mixed at the table and ,chilled wine what could be better? I started off with the nightly house soup Lobster Bisque. A Spinach, Avocado & Crumbled Roquefort Salad. Main course featuring Lobster Albanello. My wife enjoyed a house soup, Risotto and the main course, Roasted Salmon. Our daughter had the Lobster Bisque, Tony's Salad and Linguine with Lobster and Shrimp. The food was perfect and extremely flavorful. The only negative to the night was they serve desert. It was fantastic.
Our dining experience was wonderful. Thanks to Vince Bommarito (owner) for stopping by the table and talking with us. A great night out with family. Also Tony's has valet parking which is free.

“A Wonderful Dining Experience”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

I tagged along on a recent business trip with my husband to St. Louis, Mo. The third night we were there we were treated to dinner at Tony's. I can't say enough about the quality of the food, service and overall experience at this resturant. This was my husband's second visit to the resturant however the first time was many years ago. He says that is was every bit as good as he remembered. A bit pricey but worth every dime!
