Kemoll's in the Met Building has a great nite view of the city. Along with that the food was outstanding. The Beef Tips with risotto was tasty. The tips were done to perfection. The risotto with mushrooms added so much to the flavor of the dish and, in addition, they do not skimp on the portions. My wife had the Penne Molica and it almost overflowed the dish. The shrimp was also very tasty. The house salad is delicious and almost overflowed the plate. The pace of the ordering and serving was outstanding. No rush with ample decision time so that one could eat and talk with co diners. The prices were high, for example, my beef tip dish was $31.00. Blut perhaps the price is a trade off for everything else, great service, the view and the food.\

First of all, this restaurant is on the 40th floor of the Metropolitan Building in downtown St. Louis. You can see forever from the windows - the Arch, the riverfront, Illinois. At night the lights make it so beautiful and romantic...and that is before the food!

Our friends had their wedding reception here, and it was a private room(s) with DJ, floor to dance, private bar and many other special items. Waiters circulated among the guests with trays of Mini-crabcakes (FANTASTIC), bruschetta, and toasted ravioli. They also circulated with both red and white wine, in addition to the open bar with many top-shelf liquors (Kettle One, for example). Dinner started with a caesar salad and was followed by Veal Francesco (Topped with asparagus, mozzarella, prosciutto in a sherry wine butter sauce) and Chicken Fedelinaro (Boneless breast topped with mozzarella, prosciutto in sherry wine butter sauce). Also on the plate was Penne Pasta Basilica (a side dish with Penne pasta in Alfredo sauce with fresh basil, sun-dried tomato and Asiago cheese). Everything was beyond delicious. I just about licked the plate to get ALL of the sherry wine butter sauce - OMG it was so good!

Dessert was wedding cake, of course, served by the waiters but purchased elsewhere. Coffee was served and it was also very good.

All the wait staff, the bartenders, everyone was in a good mood and made the evening that much more special.

I would love to come back and eat in the restaurant area. It looked out on the town as well and I would love to try some of their other offerings. But if I could only have this meal again I would come in a heartbeat.

Very nice experience and hope to repeat it sometime soon.

We had a great dinner. The frutta del mare and crab cakes were delicious. Also had the veal saltimbocca and the shrimp and artichoke moutarde, both very good. Expensive but very good meal with a view. Will definitely go back.

Everything was very good..and for a $110 for just 2 entrees it better be very good. The view of the city is great. Despite the elegance it was missing that classic old school feeling you get a Tony's (our waiter was wearing Nike's with his Tux) but still one of the nicest restaurants in St. Louis.
