There's something to be said about chocolate and Crown has what you're looking for. I've been going there around Easter for years to pick up my favorite selections, but don't miss their handmade shakes/malts and the best BLT around STL

Great sundaes, great BLT's and best homemade chocolate. Homey old time atmosphere. I've been going there for years.

Crown Candy, the oldest surviving soda fountain inSt. Louis is a fun place to go. All their food has ample servings, so if you want a malt to drink or a sundae for dessert, share the BLT, which is an award winning sandwich. It's a busy place so, you might have to wait a bit for a table. The candy looked yummy too.

This little historic joint seems to always be full to its capacity. They serve delicious sandwiches that are heaping with everything you want. Their ice cream is homemade and usually have seasonal flavors. Feels like you step back in time. And the staff is cordially nice.

The BLT was delicious and sinful and yes, it really is as big as the pictures. We definitely split that one. We also ordered Chili Mac which was just Chili over spaghetti noodles. The chili was just ok for me. It was all meat but I like beans too, and it wasn't very spicy which I like. But it was good. The malt was delicious. We also got one of their peanut butter cups from the counter - absolutely amazing and definitely big enough for two to share - I would highly recommend!
