“Worth mucho more $ than it costs”
Reviewed February 15, 2014 via mobile

Great innovative Mexican food artfully presented . High energy atmosphere with a cosmopolitan vibe., They don't take reservations but the bar scene makes the wait fun. The back room has a colorful and dramatic mural made out of corrugated metal.

“Serendipitous find on the Loop”
Reviewed January 30, 2014

My friend and I discovered this place on accident while taking an after-dinner stroll in the Delmar Loop. We noticed the young woman making tortillas using a large machine in the window of a building. We looked up to see a taco joint. Although we had just eaten, both my friend and I are taco enthusiasts, so we decided to go in and purchase two tacos to share - just to try it out. Oh my gosh, they were so good! And we couldn't stop there. We had another taco and also tried their corn & cheese side dish. We were absolutely stuffed but could not stop eating! The fish taco is especially delicious, full of a variety of flavors that are distinct but complimentary. The corn & cheese side dish is hearty - Latin American comfort food. My friend enjoyed the duck taco as well as a third kind. This is a place that we will definitely revisit and this time we won't eat dinner before we go!

“It was a treat!”
Reviewed January 20, 2014

St Louis was covered with snow and we were tired of staying in. We had heard about Mission Taco and braved the weather and the icy sidewalks to try it. So glad we did. The minute we walked in we could feel the good vibe of this place. We were aware that this place was usually packed but because of the weather we got a table upon arriving. The server was knowledgeable and helpful. We loved everything we had especially that appetizer that is a lot like nachos but instead of tortilla chips the base is crispy french fries. OMG. NEXT TIME, THAT's all I want. The food was good and it was a fun place!

“The Real Deal”
Reviewed January 14, 2014

Absolutely spot-on tacos, tasty margaritas, and lots of good beer on tap. We usually sit at the bar, where the service is snappy and fun. The food is flavorful and top notch. Come with an appetite... for great food and a fun energy. Can be crowded and parking can be tricky, but worth all that!

“Great Food and Drinks”
Reviewed January 14, 2014 credit card Amex Card Member Review

I visited Mission Taco late Saturday evening and there were a few folks there. We sat at the bar the the masterful bartender made an amazing chocolate martini and Manhattan. The service was excellent! A few days later, we visited for lunch and the food was very good. Not a luxe place but a comfortable place with a good attempt to have a San Francisco vibe.
