We went here for lunch on a Sunday, choosing it because it was relatively close to our hotel and a non-chain place in the 'dogtown' neighborhood of St. Louis. Although there was not a parking lot, street parking nearby was easy. The atmosphere was only OK; it was dark and the tables were a little sticky, but it was busy with locals and families, which was fun. The sandwich menu had a broad list of appealing options, both hot and cold. They were out of a couple of things, which was disappointing, but it was not hard to find something else. Our sandwiches were HUGE and delivered the flavor as promised; the vegetarian sandwich was especially tasty. Would happily return when in St. Louis again.

A must try after a long day at the zoo. The portobello philly and house salad were delicious. Plus not too expensive for a deli

If you like supporting locally-owned mom and pop-type businesses, then Nora's is for you. It's in the middle of a quaint working-class neighborhood. Food was great, good service too. Three of us are vegetarian, and the other three are picky boys -- yet we were all able to find something we liked.

Friendly service, good selections to choose from but the best of all were the sandwiches. Had the Cuban on whole wheat hoagie. Not only was the meat great, the hoagie was outstanding. As good if not better than some of the sandwich shops on The Hill that we've been to. Definitely making a return trip !
