This restaurant is nestled right around all the major hotels near the Gateway Arch. Hilton, Hyatt, Drury, Marriott, etc. It has a small bar that can serve 5 or 6 people. For such a prime location the food and drink prices are reasonable, lower than I expected. I ordered the Mongolian beef stirfry. You can tell they use well trained Chinese chefs in the back because the dish did have "guo chi", meaning optimal high temperature required for good authentic stirfry. However, the food was overly sugary, which is the sure sign that they serve Americanized Chinese food. If that's your thing, you will not be disappointed.
They also serve a lunch buffet which I did not check out. No doubt it will serve all the crowd pleasers like General Tso's chicken, kung pao chicken, etc, and no doubt in American style. Again, many people don't mind the over-sweetened taste, and it can be a good bet for you. For me, the hunt for authentic Chinese food in St. Louis continues.
