Booked 35 rooms for our group at this hotel for a weekend church fellowship. The Hotel is beautiful, clean and conveniently located to restaurants, bars, dine in movie theater and grocery store. The 4th floor lounge/restaurant area is gorgeous with a inviting fireplace and plenty of table room to accommodate the breakfast and happy hour crowds. Breakfast is above the average with many selections including real cooked oatmeal, not the packets, and grits, french toast, pancakes, cooked to order omelets, etc. etc. Clean up in the area is constant. Heating was problematic for many of our members..too hot or cold and temperatures were very difficult to navigate. My corner room suite(room 403) had a major shower flaw. The doors were incorrectly installed and you had to step inside the shower, reach for the shower dial and then get a full blast of cold water before being able to adjust the temperature. Bedroom was HOT no matter how low temperature was set and living area was cold or just comfortable. Furniture is in good condition, firm and comfortable and room was clean. No temperature control knobs inside the mini fridge so do not expect items to get cold. Bedding is excellent and tv's in good condition with many channel selections. The hallway carpeting could use a good shampoo but was not unbearable. Elevators (4) are available without waiting and are very large. Maybe the front desk check in clerks were not having a good day because they were unsmiling, seemed disinterested and not at all helpful. On the other hand, the sales managers were helpful and attentive. Snack items within the hotel are very expensive..$4.00 for bottled beverages, $2.00 for a bag of microwave popcorn, etc. The one friendly employee I encountered was the bellhop while others appeared less than eager to assist. One more thing, bathroom towels are so stiff or hard not at all soft of luxurious but they are not flimsy. Overall a good stay and we would/ do plan to attend in the near future.

Room Tip: Restaurant/lounge is on 4th floor, try to get a room close to this location is walking is a problem.

What a fabulous place to stay! We enjoyed our Embassy stay very much in St. Louis. Location is very convenient to local attractions, so many things to do within walking distance. Friendly staff, always greeted with a smile and by a friendly face. Thank you to the entire staff of Embassy St. Louis.

My husband & I spent a weekend at this Embassy Suites. We had a corner room on the 4th floor. As with most Embassy Suites once you close your door it's like you're on your own island. The room was very clean and extremely quiet. We "supposedly" had a view, but here's the tricky part the hotel is only five stories and is surrounded by taller buildings than itself so a "view" means if you look up above the surrounding buildings you can see the tippy top of the Arch. Our trip was really meant for just a quiet get-away and that purpose was served.
Just a few things that put a damper on the weekend, and honestly would keep me from returning to this particular Embassy Suites is: #1 - check-in desk at 4:30 on a Friday was manned by ONE person, we were fourth in line to check in and the line just got longer as we waited. We had a "strange" $68 charge on our credit card after we got home and when I called & questioned it absolutely no one could tell me what it was for, as you can imagine it is now taken off but how often does "this" happen? Last and probably the most frustrating we had an emergency arise on Sunday morning and had to leave very early, we called for a luggage cart (they keep them locked up) and it never arrived, we finally just hauled all our luggage downstairs thinking that at least our car would be out front since we'd also given a time that we needed that, but surprise surprise the car wasn't there either. The guy at the front desk said "well I told them"!!!! Seriously, it's your job, it was only 7AM, how many cars did they need to get @ 7AM?

Very impressive service and accommodations. We stayed during the recent snow storm and ensuing hard freeze. We we very well taken care of. Particularly liked the complimentary breakfast and bar. The heated garage proved very helpful given the minus temperature we endured for a couple of days.

Stayed here with 8 friends with 2 connectings suties. Very good for a large group of people with ample room in the living room to hangout. Free breakfast was was not great but good. Managers reception is a nice plus. The drink selection is not great, but its free so cant complain. Very close walking distance to many bars and rest. as well as the casino. Overaly would stay here again.
