“Premier location, beautifully maintained hotel”

Great property/location and pleasant, professional staff. Beautiful "W" hotel-like lobby/check-in area. Room was spacious, spotless, and well appointed. 4th Floor restaurant/bar/breakfast area was attractive, and breakfast was excellent. Easy walking to many restaurants, bars, and also hockey and baseball stadiums. Would definitely stay here again!

We were very pleased with our stay here. Location is great-could walk just about everywhere from here-the arch, Scottrade Center (we ended up catching a Blues game during our visit), there is a fantastic deli down the street called Pickles. The hotel opened in recently-brand new everything!!! The pool is on the 5th floor, it is a smaller sized pool, but we have small children and the 3 foot depth and size was perfect. It was a comfortable temp, as was the hot tub. Our room was spacious and clean upon arrival. the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Our 2 year old banged her head on the coffee table (after she was jumping on the bed!), requiring stitches, and the front desk staff directed us very accurately to the Children's Hospital which was a very good experience despite the circumstance as well). We give a big kudos to her-it was the best choice for our child, even though there was a closer hospital!

The breakfast food quality was good, however, the hotel was quite full and it seemed as though they weren't adequately staffed to handle the crowds for our midweek stay. Frequently there were no plates or silverware. Tables weren't cleaned quick enough, we would move the trays and clean them ourselves. They kept up filling the hot plates as fast as they could. The staff in the dining area was always friendly and willing to serve/get you what you need. Even though we stayed Monday-Thursday, the lines were long for breakfast-assuming a lot of families on spring break. We brought our breakfast back to our room one morning to avoid the area, just loaded plates on trays for everyone. Manager's reception was always good-a few choices for everyone in our party. Another little "issue" we had: towels (one time), toiletries and the coffee in room was NOT replenished daily by the housekeeping staff. On our way back from the ER, we mentioned it to the front desk, and they promptly got us the supplies needed, but the next day it was the exact same deal. So we just gave up. We use the items, but it wasn't that big of a deal as we had some extra traveling with the kids, but not something we wanted to deal with after a long tiring day. The room itself was always clean. (The did replace the towels that were left from our 2 year old's mishap, so the towels were not replenished once). I gave a little ding on service for these reasons in my rating below.

Overall, the stay was perfect. We are very pleased with the hotel choice and would definitely return if back in the St. Louis area.

Room Tip: The pool and fitness area is on the 5th floor. Breakfast and manager's reception are on the 4th...

We stayed here on our final night of our Spring Getaway - we should have stayed here longer! The location is great, the staff friendly, and the room was the largest hotel room I've ever seen! The managers reception and the breakfast were great. Hoiwever, if you are planning on swimming please note that the pool is only 3 feet deep and the hot tub is very small. The bathroom is also small - not sure why when the room is cavernous......but having the extra sink and mirror in the "bar" area made up for it. The St. Louis visitors center is right across the street.

Stayed here one week night while in town with my family to see the Botanical Garden and CIty Museum. Great location, service and quality for this new property. Have stayed at a few other hotels in downtown and this one is tops. Kids loved the pool on the fifth floor, parents loved the nighly reception and modest free breakfast. Internet worked great. Valets were very attentive. Good family friendly dining choices in walking distance.

On my kids' Spring Break, we took a quick trip to St. Louis, MO from Houston (March 13, 2011). I booked the hotel because we took 3 kids, and it was a fairly economical price with adequate accommodations, near the Gateway Arch area. I had already read that the location was only a couple years old (or recently renovated-can't remember), so at the least, it wouldn't be run-down. Well, when we opened the door to our suite, we were so pleasantly suprised. It was probably larger than a NY apartment. The living room with a flat screen, pull-out sofa and chair was the room we opened up to. Then a dining area with a table and four chairs, wet-bar area with fridge and microwave. The restroom was adequately sized and very clean; and last, but certainly not least was the generously-spaced bedroom. Our bedroom had two queen beds, a flat screen tv, dresser, nightstand, desk and chair, tall windows, and probably 50-ft ceilings (of course, exagerrated), so no one felt cramped. Beautiful, modern decor. The nice pool, fitness room, free wireless access (in lobby), evening reception/happy hour and morning breakfast buffet were just icing on the cake. After a noon checkout, we were several hours away from our flight departure time. The front desk personnel was very accommodating in keeping our bags secured while we took in local attractions. Also this location is on the rail line, so we were able to take the train right to the airport - saving $100+ on a rental car. I would definitely stay again at this location! Fun time.

This hotel was really nice. Clean, quiet and friendly staff. The suite was spacious and quiet, except for a little traffic noise outside my window. Walking distance to the Arch and Macy's!

Stayed at this hotel recently on a business trip, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are huge, and really nice. Great space for working in the room, which was exactly what I needed. It was also quiet, which was great. The breakfast service in the morning is included, tasty and extremely convenient. There are a also ton of restaurants within walking distance.
