Great hotel to stay for a concert near the Fox Theatre. Hotel upgraded us as we are Gold Hilton Honors Member. Huge bedroom with double beds and a living room.

Breakfast was good as well as it was included in the price of the hotel.

The weather was frightful indeed, but the Hampton was so delightful. In the midst of a snowstorm, I called the hotel to get a room. I was given a spotless, comfortable room with a king bed. Everything was in perfect working order. Small bathroom, but it was fine and the shower was perfect! Towels were abundant and thick. The bedding is so comfortable. Wireless internet worked without a hitch. The room has a microwave and frig which came in handy. The breakfast area is spacious and the food is good. There is covered, secure parking for guests. The rates are much more reasonable than other Hamptons in the area and the hotel is conveniently located off I-64/40. I visit St. Louis often and will always stay here!

The hotel is nice, good service, clean, etc. We rolled into town a little late and checked right in… It was nice with the Free parking! Anyway, we came to St. Louis to meet up with a few honeys and party. The only thing about this hotel is, it’s too far to walk if you want to hang out at Laclede’s Landing. That’s where we ended up. Actually, my brothers met this girl and brought her back to hotel… (you can imagine what happened next.) Well, overall it was a good hotel.

We wound up staying with the Hampton Inn after another hotel overbooked reservations. We were very pleased at how accomodating they were. They helped us with all of our needs. The room was clean and nice. The breakfast was hot and great. Check out was a breeze! We will definitely stay again!

We stayed over the Labor Day holiday and had a good experience here. The hotel room was clean as well as the lobby area. There is a parking garage (free parking) that has a security gate. It seemed to be well secured. The Union Station is right across the street - so there are a few restaurants (Hard Rock Cafe) handy. You can catch the Metro at Union Station to take you wherever you need to go downtown. We walked from Bush Stadium backed to the hotel - a little over a mile.
The free breakfast was good with a good variety. I would stay here again.

Stayed here two nights to see a couple of Cardinals games in St Louis. $92 per night. Overall, was a convenient location (2 minute walk to Union Station) with a comfortable room. Hotel was clean and inlcuded free continental breakfast. Also, parking was free as was wireless high speed internet.

We were under the impression that this hotel was not walking distance to Busch Stadium in downtown. However, we found it to be a pleasant walk. It's about 1.5 miles (20-30 minutes walking) to the stadium. We walked to and from the game both nights. We were advised not to walk back to the hotel at night, but found it to be safe. Plenty of others were heading that direction after the games as well.

Overall, this was an excellent value. Would recommend this hotel.

My sister, cousin and I stayed at the Hampton-Union Station for one night recently. We'd definitely stay there again.

Our room was straightforward, comfortable and clean. Although the view was nothing spectacular -- overlooking the roof of the parking lot, nearby brick buildings, and (more pleasantly) a nearby community vegetable garden -- there was plenty of light, comfy beds, a usable desk, and a well-proportioned bathroom. We paid around $140 including tax for a room with two double beds -- although this was more than we thought a St. Louis hotel room should be, especially in the middle of summer, it compared favorably with other area hotels.

Hampton-Union Station's location is ideal---a few blocks from Union Station, about 15 minutes on foot to the middle of downtown and 20 minutes on foot to the Arch. We didn't master the bus system but noticed several lines nearby. The interstates are within a few minutes' drive.

The staff was very warm and helpful. Our 15' U-Haul moving truck couldn't fit in the parking lot, but the guard helped us find a secure spot for it nearby. The ladies at the front desk provided good city directions and were gracious, too (they gave us a to-go bag of breakfast food since we were in a rush to hit the road).

Overall, a very pleasant experience. Hampton Union Station is a good mid-range option for anyone who's priority is having a good base of operations and comfortable sleeping quarters near, but not in, downtown.
