This is not a very big museum, but very well done. The different rooms show different aspects of African-American life throughout different parts of history. There is a continuous playing movie that shows what life was like on a slave ship coming over from Africa. It is very life like, and hard to watch at times seeing how these people were treated, but at the same time, it's captivating and you want to see the entire story. The figures of historical people were also very well done to the point where in some of the rooms, you thought the figure was an actual person. At $7.50 to get in, this place is a bargain. Allow 1 1/2-2 hours to see everything.
