I had an evening of pure harmony and delight while visiting. Elegant, refined, and brilliant! I'm avid on classical music and would recommend this to anyone.

The St Louis Symphony Orchestra is impressive, world class, superior entertainment. My only complaint? Where are there so few young people attending performances? Is it the cost? Powell Hall, inside, is elegant.

The world renowned St Louis symphony is like no other, when it comes to drawing its audience in.

They offer diverse experiences, with a wide range of concert and film series - something for everyone (for all ages).

The venue is second to none. Just down the street from the Fox Theater, this old vaudeville house is elegant and grand.

The music you will enjoy from the SLSO will keep you coming back for more. We buy series tickets, and choose which concerts to attend.

Go see and hear the St Louis Symphony Orchestra - it's an experience you'll never forget!!

We are many year season subscribers and we have yet to be disappointed with an event. We attend 12-16 performance per year, the latest was the 2012 Gala, and we are almost always thrilled with the evening. The Symphony is excellent and David Robertson is always a treat. The pre-concert lectures are a MUST for music enthusiasts for all regular series performances. The live movie soundtracks have been a special treat the last few years. Some of the more "modern" pieces presented can be a challenge to appreciate but the orchestra always delivers an excellent interpretation. Virtuoso soloists, both Guests and Residents, always bring their best when contributing. We look forward to each upcoming performance.

My wife and I have been season ticket holders for 23 years and rarely miss a Saturday evening concert. This orchestra has never sounded better than it does right now, and that's something really wonderful! We are so proud that the St. Louis Symphony has such a fine tradition of outstanding classical music making. David Robertson is an extremely talented musician and his conducting has lifted up our musicians. Together they have brought our orchestra well deserved praise everywhere they have performed, and that's all over the world. If you can get to Powell Hall an hour before a performance begins, take advantage of the pre-concert lectures which are always informative and interesting, especially when Robertson is conducting. Robertson gives the talks himself before each of his own appearances, and he is as great an oral communicator as he is a conductor. We have always enjoyed the concerts even more when we've heard him expound on the composers and the specific repertoire to be played beforehand. Hearing this fine orchestra perform is a joy, every time!
