We saw the George Washington display (temporary and ending soon). They had several other interesting displays, too.

The museum is lovely, but the free exhibits were disapointing. To be expected, they were exclusively about St Louis, and (with a few select exceptions), I was not impressed. I like museums, and this one was boring.

I visited the History Museum when the ladies' undergarment exhibit had just arrived there. You can see and sometimes try on garments from since before mass-produced clothes came about during the Industrial Revolution to the present day. The ladies' bras from the 80s made me think of my parents and peers too much, but that's the beauty of art: It's challengingly provocative.

The 1904 World's Fair exhibit also has a trove of trivia in it. Would probably glean more from that one if I went back for seconds. Definitely recommend, and you can't beat the price of free.

This kitchy museum is interesting not so much for what's in it but for where it is located. It's under the arch. They dug out this area long after the arch opened and then they covered it back up with beautiful grounds. Quite interesting. Kids love it.

It look like St. Louis offers a lot of free things. This is one of them. We only went here because it was free. It's a museum. Nothing good or bad about it.
