This is the lower-cost option next to Pomme's primary restaurant. If you're reservationless and need a good dinner and a glass of wine this place won't disappoint. The price of the entrees are a bit steep for the quality and type of restaurant so it's not on my usual rotation but rather a good destination for desert and a drink. But the food quality is above average.

The Carr ownership of upscale restaurant two doors down and this more bistro-ish cafe creates a dilemma: both are great, so which do you choose? If upscale, hit Pomme, if you're seeking a bit more casual experience, stop here at the Cafe & Wine Bar. And if it's breakfast time, then you only have one choice...here! Quality ingredients abound, preparation wonderful, and service attentive but not in your face. If you're not local, ask around...people in the know will tell you that both these gems are worthwhile stops in the heart of Clayton.

My husband and I like to have breakfast here before we start the workday - probably 3-4 times a month. We like the menu, service is quick and they serve Kaldi's (bonus). My only request....pretty please turn down the air conditioning! It's always warm and sticky in the restaurant. :)

We went here for breakfast two days in a row. They had wonderful crossiants and muffins. Their Americano was terrific as well. Lovely decor with a few tables on the sidewalk outside. This was a great spot for breakfast.

This cafe has the feel of the true French definition of bistro as smaller charming restaurant with home cooked style foods. I have been on several occasions for lunch and look forward to trying breakfast and dinner as well.

The Macaroni & Cheese served with mixed greens is rich, tasty and just the right portion size for lunch with a lovely glass of wine and an espresso to follow. It was a blustery day outside and sitting by the window sipping my espresso after this lovely meal watching the world go by and reading the news paper brought me back to my years in Europe.
