Great Spanish tapas menu, some selectons deliver on expectations better than others. Unique libations made with homemade and fresh ingredients. A gem in the Grove.

“Best tapas in St. Louis in a very interesting setting as a bonus”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2011

The tapas are very tasty and interesting just to look at. The restaurant has a very cool interrior best appreciated at night. The back patio is large and recommended it on a cool or warm night. Excellent Service and friendly staff!!
Reasonable prices.

“Funky and delicious”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 1, 2011

My wife and I went here after spending the afternoon roaming Shaw Botanical gardens. It's not very far.

We didn't get any drinks but we did dive into the main menu. Everything was very good. Some items didn't seem like a good value (small quantity for the price). In the end we were very full for about $75 including tax and tip.

I'm not a huge fan of spicy food. The shrimp were a bit spicy for my taste. That being said, even though my mouth was on fire, I got some bread and ate every last drop of the sauce. Spicy or not, it was SO GOOD!

“Love this place!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 16, 2011

I have been here a few times and I love it! The cocktails are creative, unique & taste great. The food is prepared fresh and everything is delivered hot. I can't wait for warmer weather so I can eat out on their patio.

“Great place!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 2, 2011

Visited Sunday evening. This place hit on all cylinders.

Knowledgeable and attentive server: Bridgid.

Food was excellent. We had the special pork belly in sauce, onion rings, Quinoa, Wicked Shrimp, & a side salad. The dessert, a chocolate tort covered with chantilly sauce was out of this world.

The bartender, Matt Seiter, who won RFT's award for best mixologist, whipped up some great cocktails. I had the Napolean's Legion, a whiskey based drink using J.J. Neukomm Missouri Malt Whiskey locally sourced from Square One Brewery, followed by an Oak Cross Whiskey straight up & chilled. My wife had the Glowing, a drink special for that evening based on tequila with different fruit juices.

You enter into a comfy bar area with TVs to watch local sports action. We ate in the adjacent dining room which was decorated with religious artifacts and kind of a skeleton theme. There is a large patio with heaters which would be great for Spring to Fall.

Will definitely try again. They have a cocktail club membership for $20 which gives you a free drink, discounts on future dining & drinks, and access to off the menu member's only cocktails.
