“Downtown Park”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

It is only a couple of blocks. We enjoy it when we go to the Cardinal baseball games. I would not classify it as a garden. It has several interesting sculptures and water sprouts for the kids to get wet it.

“Great stop on a hot day”
Reviewed July 26, 2013 via mobile

Kids of all ages will love the fountains and sculptures. The entire place is kid friendly with wading pools and sprinklers. There is even a large musical instrument in the ground. We find the City Garden is a great way to end the hot summer day downtown. Not this trip but a couple of summers ago we had the time of our lives there in a down pour... hey we were already wet...

“Seriously fun for toddlers and young children”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

There are two wading pools for kids (one is 6 and under only), and there is a large splash park with fountains they can run through. The pools and fountains open around 10 am. The best times to go are early in the morning until about 1pm. In the afternoon it tends to get too crowded with older kids. Most days there are several food trucks in the area for lunch and snacks. Wear something you don't mind getting wet!

Splash park was neat, sculptures were cool and kid friendly. And, it is free! We went after dark and felt safe.

The water pools and sprays were welcomed at the end of very hot days. We went at night and everything was lit up an beautiful.
