Splash park was neat, sculptures were cool and kid friendly. And, it is free! We went after dark and felt safe.

The water pools and sprays were welcomed at the end of very hot days. We went at night and everything was lit up an beautiful.

No really I adored this park. Water flows from several fountains, art is everywhere you look and flowers and just a peaceful place if not for all the city noise but hey it is downtown. Plus you have the arch and old court house kind of looking over the whole thing which makes it somewhat better. I enjoyed the park and felt it was time well spent. Its just a nice interesting place to visit.

What a wonderful jewel for St. Louis! Perfect integration of art and experience. Kids and adults will both LOVE this place. Download the new app for more info, has a link to food trucks, events (we were there when a DJ was spinning). Do not be tempted to eat at Joe's Chili Bowl nearby - it is horrible!

We only had a few minutes to spare and were only able to see a couple of things before we needed to head back to the parking garage and move on to a different activity, but what we saw of the City Garden was nice. If you park in the garages near the arch then the City Garden is probably in walking distance if you are in good physical condition and its worth the stroll on a nice evening or morning but probably wouldnt be worth it in the heat of the day. Its in a nice area where you can just stroll and relax and take pictures of your kids with the statues.
