“Irish cuisine, yummy sauces!”
Reviewed April 6, 2013 via mobile

Finally a proper boxty with a super thin potatoe pancake. The steak boxty's sauce was super flavorful. The bangers and mash were tasty too. The restaurant is very noisy, so it is not good for conversation. The staff was very friendly. Reservations are accepted. They have a kids menu.

“Just what we were looking for..”
Reviewed March 31, 2013 via mobile

After 10 hours in the car we wanted the Arch and a good meal. We were staying at the Hampton Inn and were too tired to go downtown. And apparently there is no place open on Sunday in St Louis. This place was perfect!! My Irish Dad would have loved the meals. And sit at the bar and have Nate tell you everything you want to know about baseball or the area. Could not have enjoyed the service or the food more. The corned beef apps were great and the chicken pot pie and fish and chips were delish. And we are not easy to please on bar food!

“* * * * *5 star food and service”
Reviewed March 24, 2013

At the last minute on St. Patrick's Day, we decided to head to Tigins for an Irish beer.

We ended up enjoying a local brew made by the O'Fallon Brewery in O'Fallon MO. We enjoyed the 5 Day IPA, dry hopped American style very much.

For dinner we started with the Smoked salmon bites, which were cold-oak smoked and served on crisp boxy with the works.

Next we tried the Pulled Lamb French Dip sandwich. The meat was tender and flavorful served on a baguette with melted cheese.

Last but not least we decided to try the Trinity Steak Boxty. Grilled steak, mushrooms, onions rolled in a house made boxy topped with whiskey garlic sauce . Served with the freshest brocolli we ever had on the side.

Service was outstanding. Our server had a great grasp of the menu, beer selections and even though it was later on St. Patrick's Day service was very prompt and courteous.

“Nothing but Excellent”
Reviewed March 3, 2013 via mobile

Even on a Sunday night service and food were great.
Try the Pumpkin Spiced Buffalo Wings......nothing like them.......Potato soup was creamy and tasty....came with thick cut homemade bread.
Corned beef sandwich was the best......much more than your average.
Fried haddock.....yes ! !.....haddock in Missouri. I'm from upstate New York where haddock is King....but this haddock will better the best anywhere. Light breading....fresh taste.
Now the fries....thick cut, crispy on the outside but soft and tasty on the inside.

If you miss this place when you're in St. Louis, then you've missed the BEST !

“Great Irish Pub”
Reviewed February 28, 2013

Nice Irish Pub in the Hampton Inn by the Arch. The staff was very nice and funny. Drinks were moderately priced (5 or so for a tall Bud Light and 6 or 7 for a tall Blue Moon). I had a boxty for dinner - very good and came with some nice veggies. Colleague had the sheppards pie and said it was very good.
We both tried the Jameson Pickle shot...sounds gross, but actually was good. Give it a whirl. if nothing else, you can say you tried this unique shooter!
