For dinner we had an outstanding Caesar salad to go with a sausage pizza and one with prosciutto and mushrooms. Great flavor on the sausage pizza and everything was fresh.

Their AC must have been out because it was terribly hot inside, my boys actually went outside to get cool on one of the hottest days of the summer.

We loved this pizza! The dough is pretty traditional Neopolitan - but even better than typical good Neapolitan styles in that it is given a long rise (or maybe a sourdough starter), as it has a bit of a sourdough flavor, but not too strong to detract from the pizza. The sweetness of the tomatoes on the pies balanced wonderfully with the sour of the dough and creaminess of the bufala mozz on the Good Pie. Not sure if I liked that pie better than the mast'nicola - both were so good. The mast'nicola was like a 'breakfast' pie - lightly cooked egg on a pie with chunks of pancetta (think bacon and eggs) with pecorino. Paired it with a great rye ipa - served at the right temperature (ice cold beer is only to mask lousy flavors in lousy beer).
If you are looking for an ice cold beer and a cracker / deep dish / soft puffy crusted pizza covered with a foot of toppings - you might want to check something else out. If you want a Neopolitan style pizza carefully thought out with balanced quality ingredients - you'll be happy!

This is 'designer' pizza -- not what most of us grew up with. They're trying to be Italian but don't quite make it, IMHO. I've eaten lots of pizza in Italy. The ambiance is good, and love the open oven.

The best pizza I have had out of italy itself. It also has very good service and the prices are very affordable. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love this place! No doubt about it, if you are looking for an authentic pizza place, similar to something you would see in Italy, go here! This resembles pizza I ate there, as well as pizza I've recently ate in NYC, at a restaurant named Best Pizza by the NYtimes. You don't have to travel to experience outstanding pizza, just visit Good Pie!
