The cathedral basilica (I don't think they knew what to name it so they named it twice) is one of the must-see sites in the city of St. Louis. This church has 83,000 square feet of excellent mosaics all over the ceiling and walls which took several decades to finish as well as an interesting blend of two architectural styles. I tried to take photos but the equipment I had just wouldn't have done it justice. They have a very good gift shop and museum which is worth visiting but finding nearby parking can be a royal pain.
