“Cannot believe this is free...”
Reviewed August 3, 2013

As the title suggests I can't believe the Science center if free. We attended with our children ages 11 and 7 and 2 adult friends. Parking is $10. I was amazed at the amount of exhibits. We researched beforehand and decided against the Omnimax. The Lost Egypt exhibit would have cost us over $40 (for a family of 4). We spent most of the afternoon and had a great time. My kids favorite part was the pilot simulator (you get to fly thru the Arch) and the bridge between the Science center and Planitarium. There were cut outs where you could look straight down to the highway and there were radar guns where you could clock the speeds of the cars. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting St Louis.

“Average”
Reviewed July 31, 2013 via mobile

The best thing about this place was that it was free to get in but you to pay for all the extras. The movie we saw was pretty good but overpriced.
There were to many people there and it was difficult to get around.

“Unbelievable”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

This is an unbelievable place for families to take their children to. There are many hands on exhibits that the kids (and adults) will love. They will learn so much while having a great time. We went for the Lost Egypt exhibit and I really enjoyed this. We also did the Omnimax show on the secrets of egyptian mummies. This show was fantastic especially being in their omnimax theater. If you want to do a more quiet museum, St Louis offers a variety of them. This museum is packed with kids very excited about being there and therefore is "loud". There is a parking fee of $10., the egypt exhibit was $8 each, and the omnimax was additional. If you want to go for the science center things for kids to do, it is free.

“Great time for ALL ages!”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

How can you go wrong, when there are great exhibits, lots of things to do AND touch....great demonstrations, an IMAX theater....what else do you need?

Oh yes, a planetarium.

There are plenty of touch/do things for kids (try to build the Arch by yourself...you'll understand when you see it), but also a lot of things for high school kids (all the physics demonstrations and models), then lots of things for adults (the toy area across the highway). The display items remind patrons of the part of history St Louis played in aviation and the space race.....

All in all, it is a super visit!

“Family fun and kids of all ages just might learn something”
Reviewed July 28, 2013 via mobile

We enjoyed exploring all the different hands on projects. This is a place where older and younger kids alike can have a ball. You can spend an entire day here but be prepared to open your wallet. There are several different activities that cost such as the IMAX and often special exhibits. There is a paid parking lot but if you enter from Forest Park you can seek out free parking.
