Owner description: Tour the famous Clydesdale stables, brew house and packaging plant of one of the biggest names in beer.

We visited on Sunday, August 11 and took the 3:45 free tour. There were probably 50 people in our group--the guides told us they can take up to 100 at a time. The stables are a big draw and there are a few of the Clydesdales to see but they suggest visiting Grant's Farm if you're really interested in seeing the horses. The brewery is very well maintained and we enjoyed seeing the older sections with their ornate columns, chandeliers and paintings. The gift shop and the historical displays at the entrance for the tours were worth a look. The hospitality suite is what you'd expect for handling so many people--the staff were friendly and patient with the perpetual crowd. When you're in a city known for its beer, a tour of this famous brewery is a must.

Hard to believe something is free in todays society, but this free tour and beer tasting is a must thing to do when in St Louis. Very informative, classy and a great way to spend one to two hours.

The history, the Clydesdales, the grandeur of the original buildings, not to mention the beer and pretzels at the end of the tour, made for a really fun couple of hours. In the height of the season, plan on waiting for your tour to start!

We went to the brewery for a tour after the Mardi Gras parade. We thought for sure it would be incredibly crowded, but much to our surpise it was not. We only had to wait about 10 minutes for our tour to begin.

Seeing the clydesdale horse and dalmatian dog was worth the walk to to the brewery alone. Then, of course there is the tasting room, where you can sample several brews. Great tour.

Been on this tour several times. Lots to learn. Lobby has a lot to read and see while waiting to take a tour which occur every 15 minutes. Biggest complaint I have is everytime I have taken the tour the guides appear/sound like they are only there for a pay check. They say everything as rehearsed and fast as they can so you have no time to process anything they saying. I feel like Im missing a lot of the information. They do answer questions throughly though.
