“Beautiful!”
Reviewed August 6, 2014

We were able to see the Lego exhibit. It was AWESOME! However, after that, we had a large group of 8-9 year olds who got bored with the place pretty quickly. If you have a group of adults or if you are just an adult who enjoys things like this, then you will like this. If you have small kids, you'll get about an hours worth of entertainment from this for them.
The gardens are beautiful and the Legos were pretty neat. If I go back, I will make sure that I am kid free!

“Fabulous and extensive”
Reviewed August 6, 2014

The gardens can be your day or half day of repose in St. Louis. There are many sections dedicated to specialized flowers, themes, Japanese gardens, ponds, etc. There is also a wonderful cafe in the premises with generous portions.

“Wow....what an amazing place!”
Reviewed August 5, 2014

Have only been to the evening concerts at the Botanical Gardens once, have never been to and explored the whole place. What an amazing oasis of beauty in the heart of Saint Louis. Bring your family and a picnic basket and sit and relax. Enjoy the beauty of the Japanese Gardens and Pond, all the water fountains, walking paths and the calm. The grounds are very well maintained. Would deffinitely go back and take a guided tour. Can't say enough about great treasure Saint Louis has.

Very interesting for all ages. Read the history about Henry Shaw before your visit to add to the colorful history of the gardens.

“World gem”
Reviewed August 5, 2014

This is one of the most beautiful and quiet areas in the middle of any city. How lucky that the Botanical Garden is within walking distance from where I live.
