“Must-see Botanical Garden!”

Plan to spend a couple of hours here, the garden covers several acres. Take a free walking tour to get the feel of the place. There is also a tram that drives the grounds if you are not up to lots of walking. Going in the spring is the best, with all the flowers in bloom. We were there in early May, and it was a breezy 70 degrees during the day and clear. Perfect weather to stroll the Japanese Garden. Don't miss the Climatron!

“Orchid show”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

I love the Botanical Gardens, it is quiet, gated and the smell of flowers is relaxing. I've been here before and loved it, of course my most recent trip there wasn't that many flowers because of the colder weather at the time; however, i love to return to see the flowers all over again sometime this May.

This is such a beautiful place to visit. The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to answer your questions and help you out...the gift shop is terrific. It's so wonderful to stroll through all of the gardens and there is usually a display of some kind throughout the year.

“Absolutely beautiful!”
Reviewed May 8, 2013 via mobile

They have the most beautifully manicured gardens I've ever seen. My daughter had a field trip here. I really thought that they would not enjoy this (3rd grade) but I was wrong. The workers spent time talking with the kids. When they had time to explore on their own, man we were surprised at all the fun things to do. There is a house, maze and the cool snap dragon! You must go. If you have a stroller you need to get the rules about it, I remember we couldn't take it certain places. The kids enjoyed the hands on stuff too.

“Wonder day”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

I have been to the Botanical Gardens often. Its something to do at least once a year. I have gone for wedding which are nice. I think the garden for the children is a must see if you have kids with you. Also you can buy the fish food in the gift shop and it is normally cheaper then using quarters in the machines. Normally I spend all day there.
