“Not a good shopping destination”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 18, 2006

Come to see the beautiful building (be sure to check out the lobby of the attached Hyatt - ask about the Whispering Arch!), or for dinner at Landry's, or the tasty Key Lime Pie at the Key West Cafe, or to feed the enormous goldfish in the pond behind the mall. Just don't come to shop, unless you're a connoisseur of those cheap, cheesy, touristy t-shirts. No shortage of those here, for sure. Check out the entertainment of the chanting fudge-makers at the Fudgery, as they get the whole crowd involved. In short, stop by for a quick look at Union Station, but I wouldn't allot more than an hour for the entire experience.

“Not Good for shopping, just sightseeing”

There are very few shops. Just lots to eat. There is also a pond out back to feed fish and paddle boat.

“Great spot - but not for shopping”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2004

This is a must see attraction in St. Louis - but the shopping is just NOT very good - no "anchor" stores at all, you'll barely recognize any stores. Dont go expecting a shopping trip, but the restaurants and viewing the old train station - Hard Rock Cafe, Starbucks, Hooters, Brewery are great spots. Hear the Hyatt is nice also, but never stayed there

“After coming home, my boyfriend Proposed!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 28, 2003

We visited for a week on business, and it sealed the deal for my husband and I. This hotel is made to look like a luxurious castle, and we were in paradise. When we came home, he bought me a ring and... we are living happily ever after!
