“Interesting, but not exciting”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

We weren't sure what to expect when we visited Laumeier Park. It was very easy to find off of Interstate 44 and Watson Road. The exhibits are spread throughout a substantially large property. I appreciate that creative people have poured themselves into these works, but the write ups at each of the exhibits are far superior to the works themselves. Reading these with my family became a form of comedic reading. After reading 10-15 of these we lost interest and called it a day. A week after attending the park we read in the St. Louis Post Dispatch the history of the park and the donation of many works that are in disrepair and not on the property. Interesting reading prior to visiting the park should you decide to visit.

“Exploring art outdoors”
Reviewed July 29, 2013 via mobile

Its a fun day under the sun. There are some sculptures you can climb on and just view others. Not too sure about young children and keeping their attention all day but uts worth a shot and hey its free.

“Great art but plan some time.”
Reviewed July 18, 2013 via mobile

We went to see the sculptures, that's all. The sculpture ranges from confusing to amazing. The long wooden one that's the"skeleton" and the way ( that huge red one) are pretty awe-inspiring. The Eye is creepy. We had a nice warm stroll but didn't have the time to hike the trail.

“Must See”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

This park is not like any others. Taking a nice stroll through to see the different sculptures is a great way to spend a day. The have events there also. The problem I find is when we bring the kids they want to climb on the sculptures.
