“Can't believe it Free!”
Reviewed October 8, 2012

We absolutely LOVED the St. Louis Zoo. They have so much to do and see, I can't believe this is a free zoo. Can't wait to visit again when the weather's a little warmer & we can enjoy it even longer!

“Excellent Zoo and Free”
Reviewed October 7, 2012

If you are passing through or here for vacation, the zoo is an excellent activity to do with children. You can easily spend 6 hours here but if you are in a hurry, you can just pick certain exhibits and move through at a faster pace. They offer easy access parking, they have food and drinks and some up close experiences with the animals.

“Beautiful Day”
Reviewed October 7, 2012

What a lovely way to spend a beautiful fall day. The zoo was very clean, the flowers were terrific and the exhibits were adequate for the animals. They opened the new seal exhibit this summer and although the line to go in the tunnel was a little long, it was worth the wait. It was very cool to have the seals swimming over you in the tunnel. The butterfly house is also fabulous. Best of all....the zoo is free. If you don't mind a little extra walking, save $15 and park in the city park near the zoo and walk over. Doing this also lets you view the iron animal statuary at the corner of the park. A must see!

“Great zoo!”
Reviewed October 7, 2012

We love the St. Louis zoo, it is free to get in and see most of the animals. For $10 a person you can buy the armband which gets you on the train, petting zoo, stingrays and a few others. We take our family there twice a year and the kids love it!

“Wonderful FREE!!!! Zoo in the process of updating”
Reviewed October 6, 2012

The zoo is in the process of updated a lot but still needs to work on a few areas. The old school reptile buildings and monkey houses are super and should not be missed. And once the work is done on the River Edge area it will be a good addtions. The best part is the zoo is free. You can pay to park or try to find a street spot. I say park far away as there is a lot to do around the zoo as well.
