We went on a Saturday at 3p, it was 90 minutes before we ate. Allow me to explain my experience... Wait, for anyone that might not know, as I didn't, how Pappy's works, this is an important note. To order: you go up to the counter, order your food, pay for it, and within minutes someone will run out from the kitchen holding a tray and yelling your name. However, this establishment is VERY popular. So, the line for the counter to order goes thru the entire restaurant, then down the hall where the bathrooms are and back up the hall again, then out the back entrance and down the ramp....at least, on a cold overcast October afternoon. But make no mistake, the Ribs and pulled pork were terrific, juicy and flavorful! The fried corn on the cob was different, chewy and tasted like corn/popcorn, salt and pepper brought it to life for me. Also, was so happy they had sweet tea to complete the experience for me! I am on sugar overload, and need a foot rub, but my tummy is happy!
