Having lived across the river in Illinois for two years, you would think I would have been up the Arch before -- but not so.
So, on my last visit to St. Louis, some friends and I decided to take a stroll over to the Gateway Arch National Park -- and of course go UP the arch.
The museum was incredible. Gorgeous and very interactive.
The gift shop is legit too. Had everything related to the Arch and the park.
It's a slow 4 minute ride up in the 'pod' and 3 minutes down. If you're scared of height - don't. The arch does sway a bit. The view is cool -- though I with the Land of Lincoln would do SOMETHING about the vista out across the river -- Illinois side is bleak and nothing exciting.
Would recommend: Yes!
Would re-patronize: Maybe with the fam.
