Many St. Louis natives don't go up in the Arch unless they have out-of-town visitors. The Arch has a lot to offer. The free museum beneath the Arch is great. There are also a couple movies that can be seen (at a cost) that show the Arch being built. A trip to the top of the Arch is a memory. It is not for those who are claustrophobic. The cubicles are small- holding approximately 5 persons. Once at the top you can get some great pictures of the Old Court House. The windows are tiny but you can still get a good view. You may stay as long as you wish at the top and take and tram back down at your leisure.
