Expectations were high as we started out with the crab dip which was just great - not too much filler - just plenty of crab! There were 4 of us and we each ordered a different entree - the table favorite was the tilapia stuffed with crab and the cajun-style potatoes! The Mardi Gras decor in this neat old downtown building really added to the flavor of the meal. It was a road trip for us - would do it again!

Every time we travel to Kansas City, we have to stop off in St. Jo's for some great cajun! This place is a little diamond in the rough! Love their Mardi Gras decor. Delicious food and friendly staff everytime! I do not enjoy spicy food but my husband does. It's great for us because they have a wide variety for all types of taste buds.

The old brick building with the colonial style pillars on the inside were really neat. It was a friendly environment. The meal was pretty good... Not the best but the dessert made up for it. I would go again.
