My husband is a history buff and had to see this. It was interesting to read about and see where he lived. Only compliant was the young lady who was in the museum was not friendly ans more interested in playing on her phone.

This was one of the few things that we wanted to see while in Kansas city, it was only about 50 minutes north of our hotel which was in kansas city, kansas by the raceway. the house was smaller than i pictured it, we were very happy that we got to stop by this piece of history and see where one of the most popular if not most popular outlaws was shot. The Patee house museum is beside the Jesse James Home which was very nice.We were able to see two good attractions without having to jump back in the car and drive to the other location.

There's not much to the house, but if you like injecting yourself into the past, it's a winner. It'll only take about 15 minutes of your time.

Jesse James should not be rated as a hero. This is not much but for those who like stuff like this, then be sure to stop. This does not need to be on anyone's bucket list.

This is very short, you see where Jesse James lived and was murdered. It's connected to the Patee Museum where you get the full history of the life and times. Well worth the price and time, whether you are a fan of Jesse James, Civil War or not!
