This is a neat museum with a lot of Missouri wildlife and St Joseph history featured. I recommend it to anyone who has school aged children and an hour or two. The gift shop is excellent.

We stopped in here after we walked the trail along the river. I thought it was pretty cool, they had a lot of neat exhibits and a few historical ones. They had a lot of taxidermy animals and interactive exhibits. For only 3 dollars, it was very interesting to go and look at everything. The building itself was a really cool design, up on stilts in case the river flooded.

As you walk through the entrance of this museum, you are greeted by a life size "Mama" Wooly Mammoth and her baby. This will perk your interest and make you want to search out the rest of the museum. Excellent parking.

St. Joseph, MO is an old town, and this nature museum is the newest, BEST attraction in City. The displays are wonderfully presented, and the building is very cheerful and bright. Children will enjoy it.

The museum is situated on the Missouri River, The road getting there is a little hard to find, be persistent as it is worth it.
