Our traveling companions were unanimous in their decision for fast lunch here. It was crowded at lunch, but the line moved quickly. There were times posted when the coffee was prepared so we knew how fresh it was. The flavor and quality of food matched the other Paneras where we had eaten. Selections more creative, and more expensive. Fresh and healthly selections were a definite plus. The staff appeared to be rushed, which may account for the bread bowl being cut at an angle which caused the soup to spill onto the tray. Other than the rushed service, there were no complaints- again, quality was consistent with other Paneras.

Panera Bread is relatively new to St. Joseph and has quickly become my favorite place to eat, alone or with friends. I have never had a bad meal there and I love their rewards program (free drinks, money off items, etc.)

Panera may not be the cheapest quick food, but it is a fun place to eat. It has wi-fi so college students like to eat there and work on assignments. It is clean, has a fireplace and a cheery atmosphere. Service is usually very quick.

I'm a long time fan of St. Louis Bread Company aka Panera. Their Pannini is great and they are always quick with the preparation. Their frequent customer service is great. Last visit I had the Frontage Chicken and Clam Chowder Pick Two meal. Chowder was VERY good. Only complaint was they had the top and bottom of the pannini not on in synch with each other and it made for a crooked, sloppy sandwich. The lunch hour was very crowded- tells me many people like them!
