Have been here twice. It is an interesting collection that not only details the history of mental health and mental health care but also provides some insight into the minds of the mentally ill.

I have been here five times at least! The first time was when this place was own by the state and was free! It is a very interesting place and opened my eyes to psychology, and you learn a lot if you read the information! Plus, it isn't overcrowded with people and you can take your time checking out the stuff! My favorite part is seeing what some patients created and the older techniques people used to treat patients with.! Definitely check this place out, and if you are interested, this place is rated as one of the top creepiest museums in the world! :3

We had a coupon from one of the brochures, so the two of us got into the museum (there's actually 4 museums all in one building and your entrance fee lets you visit all of them), very reasonably...the fee is very cheap by itself. It isn't the biggest of museums, but I'm not a real museum person so it was perfect size for me...I enjoyed the psychiatric Glore museum the most, but we did visit all of the museums. Definitely a good value..check it out

As a psychiatric social worker, I thoroughly enjoyed this museum. And I learned quite a bit about the sad history of how the mentally ill were treated in times past. It's a must-see place.

The Glore is not what you'll expect. Meaning, if you've been to a lot of national parks, don't expect this to be top notch to the eye. However, the Glore offers a homy feel to some interesting subjects. You'll learn all about past psychiatric methods and practices from years and centuries ago! Fascinating.
